Black seed oil is cold-pressed from the tiny seeds of Nigella sativa, a flowering plant treasured for more than 3,000 years across the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. Black seeds were even found in King Tut’s tomb. The oil is naturally rich in thymoquinone, along with healthy fatty acids and antioxidants. It’s traditionally used to support immune health, digestion and respiratory wellness, and to promote healthy skin, hair and scalp. How to use it: take ½ to 1 teaspoon daily on its own, or mix it with honey, juice or a smoothie to soften its bold, peppery taste. You can also massage a few drops into skin, scalp or hair ends. Store it in a cool, dark place. Cautions: not for use during pregnancy. Talk with your provider if you take blood sugar, blood pressure or blood-thinning medications. Multiple sizes available.
