Dr. Christopher’s Birth Prep (formerly known as Pre-Natal Formula) is a traditional herbal formula designed to support an expecting mother’s body during the last 6 weeks of pregnancy and help prepare her for the birthing process. It combines herbs that midwives and herbalists have used for generations: squaw vine blessed thistle black cohosh pennyroyal false unicorn root (shepherd’s purse may be used instead during shortages) red raspberry leaf lobelia These herbs are traditionally used to tone and nourish the uterus and prepare the body for labor and delivery. Suggested use (only in the last 6 weeks of pregnancy): Week 1: 1 capsule daily. Week 2: 2 capsules daily. Week 3 until delivery: 2 capsules, 3 times daily (no more than 6 capsules a day), or as directed by your healthcare provider. Important: use this product only under the direction of your midwife or healthcare provider, and only during the last 6 weeks of pregnancy.
